Love this location. It was close to the highway but you couldn't hear anything. Everything was clean and welcoming. Talked on the phone with the people who ran it and they seemed happy to have me coming. My brother recommended it to me and I'll be sure to recommend it to anyone else that I can. I'll also be sure to stop back in whenever I head through there again
Great place. Only stayed one night, was passing through moving to Texas. Not far from the interstate. Easy pull through sites. Pool is great. Didn't get to go on the slide but it looked awesome. Store is well stocked. Sites are level, concrete, and have trees. Sites are well spaced. This place is not the typical parking lot, its like your camping just in a RV. Staff is great, breakfast is very good.
Okay second KOA this week. The last was in Abilene this one on Toomsuba MS. Sorry MS hands down abilene is better. Nice folks here in MS, got us pillows for the cabin, rolled over a screwed up booking on my part, everthing, so customer service is 5 stars. However, too much mud not enough gravel, no rugs to wipe off you shoes, dog run is nice, but I worried about disturbing the owners? Seemed to be attached to someone's home. I really want to give it 4 stars but that would mean it was equal to Abilene and it simply isn't this time. A couple of extra items that made a difference, WiFi did not work in the cabins, heaters were a bit weak for the 28 degree temps and showers could use some updrades. A positive, the mattresses here are second to none for comfort. So full and made sleep easy.
My wife and I stayed here for almost a month. The staff are courteous and very helpful. They took us to our spot and helped us navigate a corner to our camp site. We did not have any problems here, and we would still be here if it were not for my long daily commute to my job site. The campground is very nice and well taken care of, and has lots of shade. Ask if spot #18 is available if you are going to stay a while. Overall very satisfied.
Went here back in the late 90's and I must say I've never forgotten it. I had such a great time. It was 4th of July weekend and they opened the slide at night(don't know about now, but that wasn't something they normally did). It was awesome...they had it lit up and everything. One of these days, I hope to make it back there.
